        for Judge, County Court-at-Law No.2
The voters of Fort Bend County have passed judgement on my opponent in the past. My opponent has lost three county-wide elections, including a campaign againsts an incumbant Republican Judge.
Help Jeff in his efforts to victory; thus,  providing Fort Bend constituents a Judge they deserve!

My Vision
Officers of the law have a high responsibility to guard the law in the preservation of our society.   I have a vision to elevate that responsibility and uphold the quality of justice that has prevailed in this court for over 20 years.  I will utilize my personal and professional beliefs of integrity and honesty with my experience to continually strive to improve the administration of justice.
Respect for Tax Payers

It is another vision to create a solid standard of court procedures & administrative functions that will save the taxpayers of Fort Bend County money.   Wasting the court’s time is unacceptable because that decreases the efficiency of the court and increases costs.   It is imperative to streamline the dockets.   First, I plan to limit the amount of criminal resets that clog the docket.  Secondly, I am going to work with the District Attorney’s office to insure proper evaluation of cases and to work within the guidelines of the Speedy Trial Act of Texas.  Third, I will not tolerate attorney’s that deplete the court’s budget with incorrect “billable hours”.   Next, I want to incorporate Federal Grants that are available to alleviate any burden to the taxpayers. Finally, I  believe in positive teamwork and continual education.  My judicial staff will play a critical part in the court's effeciency.  Establishing a positive work environment and providing the education and training in courtroom management will provide my staff with the tools and motivation to work efficiently.  I will set the standard both in the courtroom and in the administration to reflect a dedicated work ethic.

How I can get the job done
I have practiced in all of the areas focused on by a County Court-at-Law for over 17 years, run an extensive family law practice, and I am a trained & respected mediator.  I have handled thousands of cases and in doing so worked around thousands of people with an array of personalities; equipping me with not only extensive trial experience, but with the knowledge to know when to plea, mediate, try or dismiss a case. This court primarily handles criminal cases on average about 1,600 adult and 240 juvenile per year. I am the only candidate with felony & misdemeanor jury trial experience.  Working on over 1,400 more cases than my opponent and being a respected mediator are both invaluable assets to apply my solid knowledge to effectively evaluate cases and increase the efficiency of the court.
Juveniles

I  am dedicated to the correction, rehabilitation and inspiration of juveniles and strongly believe in  prevention & the education for our youth.  I want  to organize a volunteer stearing commtitee consisting of  individuals from Juvenile Probation, Educators, Police, Parents & Students to discuss the strengths and weakness of the system.  As a Judge, I will continue to speak to kids about the importance to work on their education, establish goals and to work hard to acheive them.
